You haven't had to experience most of the early game grinds that 90% of the community had to go through.
GET TREATED LIKE TRASH WITHOUT A COLLEGE DEGREE HOW TO
You claim that "The grind takes too long for YT" but then you also complain that people say you don't know how to play the game without handouts. While that is content, it's also a blatant abuse of power Pigical had a staff member abuse to kick a "non" from a dragon lobby just so he could boost items. Not sure what "free items" these people are getting that you're talking about, but it doesn't compare to what most YT get from fans Your progression in the game is linked directly with handouts I'm bothered by their ability to evade rules that most players are held to. The gear you get isn't purely gotten just for content, it helps you progress in the game faster than most other people can. Why are YouTubers able to profit off of something ingame while other users cannot?ĭonations are fine, but if most of the community is punished for making donations why does a tag separate you from the other people? Candy armor might be a way to show off for your fans, but it'll also help you in the next event. If we are looking for a trophy item maybe consider the "Golden Treat" that's cosmetic and a bragging right that you can show off. I can't sell my Pigman's Sword online for money, so you shouldn't be able to sell a friend request for the same benefit. Trading ingame items for IRL currency is bannable. I agree, but staff would look into a player that gets 1mil for a piece of cobblestone. Youtubers who got emerald armor within the first week of skyblock might have boosted on their own islands and got punished, but I'm 99% positive that rule extends to your friend's other islands too. YouTubers clearly get the best advantage when it comes to this method of boosting since they have hundreds of friends looking to get attention (or "help them make content"). If two players make an island, but one player uses those items just to help his friend out that would fall under the guidelines of "Boosting". You want to be treated like an equal player, so let's put you on the same level as anyone else. It's the fan's choice though and I agree with that. Just because it's inconvenient for someone doesn't mean they need help. Right now it's understandable if you need some financial support, but plenty of other people have to go to work and school and do homework too. For some people (youtubers that get higher view counts) that hard work and effort pays off in the form of ad revenue and donations. It's understandable that you spend time on your content.

Rank abuse frequently goes unpunished, or under punished when it comes to Hypixel. Even if the rank is removed your value to Hypixel as a media marketing device is invaluable. I'll get into that below.Īs I mentioned in "Cheating Youtubers" the rank acts as a DEFENSE that helps you get an appeal. Exploiting your fans is a little ridiculous. Scammers should have their rank removed, but it's worth understanding that other things would fall under this punishment too.
